The bug was discovered 04/13/2004. The weakness was shared 04/13/2004 by Matt Thompson with Aberdeen IT as MS04-014 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at microsoft.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2004-0197 since 03/11/2004. Access to the local network is required for this attack to succeed. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
