Stack-based buffer overflow in CEServer.exe in the CEServer component in the Remote Agent module in InduSoft Web Studio 6.1 and 7.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted 0x15 (aka Remove File) operation for a file with a long name.

The weakness was shared 12/05/2011 by Luigi Auriemma with Zero Day Initiative (Website). The advisory is shared for download at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability was named CVE-2011-4052 since 10/13/2011. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
