A vulnerability has been found in e107 CMS up to 0.7.26 (Content Management System) and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown part of the file usersettings.php. The manipulation of the argument username with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in usersettings.php in e107 0.7.26, and possibly other versions before 1.0.0, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the username parameter.
The weakness was released 01/04/2012 (oss-sec). The advisory is shared at openwall.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2011-4921 since 12/23/2011. The exploitation appears to be difficult.
