MediaWiki before 1.17.1 allows remote attackers to obtain the page titles of all restricted pages via a series of requests involving the (1) curid or (2) oldid parameter.

The weakness was published 01/08/2012 by Tim Starling (Alex) as Bug 32276 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is shared for download at bugzilla.wikimedia.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2011-4360 since 11/04/2011. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1068.
