Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in osCommerce/OM/Core/Site/Shop/Application/Cart/pages/main.php in OSCommerce Online Merchant 3.0.2 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the value_title parameter, as demonstrated using the "Front" field in the shirt module.
The weakness was shared 02/13/2012 by Alex (Website). The advisory is shared at github.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2012-1059 since 02/13/2012. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
