Use-after-free vulnerability in the PresShell::CompleteMove function in Mozilla Firefox before 15.0, Firefox ESR 10.x before 10.0.7, Thunderbird before 15.0, Thunderbird ESR 10.x before 10.0.7, and SeaMonkey before 2.12 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (heap memory corruption) via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was published 08/28/2012 by Abhishek Arya (Inferno) with Google Chrome Security Team as mfsa2012-58 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at mozilla.org. The public release has been coordinated with Mozilla. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2012-1975 since 03/30/2012. The exploitability is told to be easy.
