Integer overflow in the dhcpv6_get_option function in gdhcp/client.c in ConnMan before 0.85 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop and crash) via an invalid length value in a DHCP packet.

The weakness was disclosed 05/18/2012 by Sebastian Krahmer as Bug 715172 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is available at bugzilla.novell.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2012-2322 since 04/19/2012. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
