Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Exception Handler in TYPO3 4.4.x before 4.4.15, 4.5.x before 4.5.15, 4.6.x before 4.6.8, and 4.7 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via exception messages.
The weakness was published 08/27/2012 by Helmut Hummel (Website). The advisory is shared at lists.typo3.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2012-2112 since 04/04/2012. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
