Open redirect vulnerability in phpgwapi/ntlm/index.php in EGroupware Enterprise Line (EPL) before 11.1.20110804-1 and EGroupware Community Edition before 1.8.001.20110805 allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks via a URL in the forward parameter.

The weakness was disclosed 08/31/2012 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at comments.gmane.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2011-4951 since 12/23/2011. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1204.001.

Upgrading to version 11.1.20110711-1 eliminates this vulnerability.
