CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in Juan Ramon OSClass up to 2.3.5. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file combine.php. The manipulation of the argument type with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Impacted is confidentiality, and integrity. The summary by CVE is:

Directory traversal vulnerability in combine.php in OSClass before 2.3.6 allows remote attackers to read and write arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the type parameter. NOTE: this vulnerability can be leveraged to upload arbitrary files.

The weakness was released 09/25/2012 by Filippo Cavallarin (Website). The advisory is shared at github.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2012-1617 since 03/12/2012.
