A vulnerability was found in Cartpauj Mingle-forum up to 1.0.23.0 (Forum Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block. The manipulation of the argument edit_forum_id with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in the Mingle Forum plugin 1.0.32.1 and other versions before 1.0.33 for WordPress might allow remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) memberid or (2) groupid parameters in a removemember action or (3) id parameter to fs-admin/fs-admin.php, or (4) edit_forum_id parameter in an edit_save_forum action to fs-admin/wpf-edit-forum-group.php.

The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. The requirement for exploitation is a simple authentication. Upgrading to version 1.0.23.1 eliminates this vulnerability.
