openCryptoki 2.4.1 allows local users to create or set world-writable permissions on arbitrary files via a symlink attack on the (1) LCK..opencryptoki or (2) LCK..opencryptoki_stdll file in /var/lock/.

The weakness was disclosed 10/10/2012 as Bug 730636 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is shared for download at bugzilla.redhat.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2012-4455 since 08/21/2012. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack needs to be approached locally.
