Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in file_manager/preview_top.php in ATutor AContent before 1.2-2 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) pathext, (2) popup, (3) framed, or (4) file parameter.
The weakness was disclosed 10/22/2012 with High-Tech Bridge Security Research Lab (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at update.atutor.ca. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2012-5169 since 09/26/2012. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
