Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Tecnick TCExam up to 11.2.21. Affected is some unknown functionality. The manipulation of the argument subject_id with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Nicola Asuni TCExam before 11.3.009 allow remote authenticated users with level 5 or greater permissions to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) user_groups[] parameter to admin/code/tce_edit_test.php or (2) subject_id parameter to admin/code/tce_show_all_questions.php.
The weakness was published 11/23/2012 as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is available at tcexam.git.sourceforge.net.
