This vulnerability affects the function doreply of the file ftpd.c of the component Command Handler. The manipulation with the input value aaa[...] leads to a null pointer dereference vulnerability. A NULL pointer dereference occurs when the application dereferences a pointer that it expects to be valid, but is NULL, typically causing a crash or exit.
