CRLF injection vulnerability in the logout functionality in VMware SpringSource Spring Security before 2.0.7 and 3.0.x before 3.0.6 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTTP headers and conduct HTTP response splitting attacks via the spring-security-redirect parameter.
The weakness was presented 12/05/2012 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at support.springsource.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2011-2732 since 07/11/2011. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
