A vulnerability has been found in Merethis Centreon up to 2.3.9-4 and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file menuXML.php. SQL injection vulnerability in menuXML.php in Centreon 2.3.3 through 2.3.9-4 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the menu parameter.

The weakness was released 12/19/2012 by Tom Gregory as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). It is possible to read the advisory at kb.cert.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2012-5967 since 11/21/2012. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The successful exploitation needs a single authentication.
