A vulnerability was found in Google Android up to 2.3.5 (Smartphone Operating System) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block. The PowerVR SGX driver in Android before 2.3.6 allows attackers to gain root privileges via an application that triggers kernel memory corruption using crafted user data to the pvrsrvkm device.

The weakness was shared 02/05/2013 (Website). The advisory is shared at jon.oberheide.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2011-1352 since 03/10/2011.
