The weakness was presented 09/19/2012 by Martin Barbella (PinkiePie) with Google Chrome Security Team as APPLE-SA-2012-09-19-1 as not defined posting (Website). The advisory is available at prod.lists.apple.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2011-3078 since 08/09/2011. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
