A vulnerability has been found in IBM SPSS SamplePower and classified as very critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the file C1sizer.ocx of the component ActiveX Control. Buffer overflow in the c1sizer ActiveX control in C1sizer.ocx in IBM SPSS SamplePower 3.0 before FP1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long TabCaption string.

The weakness was presented 04/29/2013 by Alexander Gavrun (Website). The advisory is shared for download at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability was named CVE-2012-5946 since 11/21/2012.
