A vulnerability was found in Cacti (Log Management Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is some unknown functionality of the file api_poller.php of the component Utility. The weakness was disclosed 08/23/2013 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at svn.cacti.net. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-1434. The exploitability is told to be easy. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 350522 (Amazon Linux Security Advisory for cacti: ALAS-2013-222).

Upgrading to version 0.8.6f eliminates this vulnerability.
