Open-Xchange Server 6.20.7/6.22.0/6.22.1 location code injection

CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Open-Xchange Server 6.20.7/6.22.0/6.22.1. This issue affects some unknown processing. The manipulation of the argument location with an unknown input leads to a code injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-94. The product constructs all or part of a code segment using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the syntax or behavior of the intended code segment. Impacted is integrity. The summary by CVE is:

Multiple CRLF injection vulnerabilities in Open-Xchange Server before 6.20.7 rev14, 6.22.0 before rev13, and 6.22.1 before rev14 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTTP headers and conduct HTTP response splitting attacks via a crafted parameter, as demonstrated by (1) the location parameter to ajax/redirect or (2) multiple infostore URIs.

The weakness was disclosed 09/05/2013 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). It is possible to read the advisory at archives.neohapsis.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2013-1647 since 02/11/2013. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
