Gretech GOM Media Player 2.2.53.5169 and possibly earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a crafted WAV file.
The weakness was presented 09/09/2013 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-5716 since 09/09/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
