A vulnerability was found in Nagios Nagios XI up to 2012r1.3 (Log Management Software) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code block of the component NagiosQL. The manipulation of the argument tfPassword with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in functions/prepend_adm.php in Nagios Core Config Manager in Nagios XI before 2012R2.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the tfPassword parameter to nagiosql/index.php.
The weakness was presented 11/26/2013 by Denis Andzakovic with Security Assessment (Website). The advisory is shared for download at security-assessment.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2013-6875 since 11/26/2013. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.

Upgrading to version 2012r1.4 eliminates this vulnerability.
