The exploitation appears to be easy. Access to the local network is required for this attack. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Upgrading to version 6.6.0.1 eliminates this vulnerability. Furthermore it is possible to detect and prevent this kind of attack with TippingPoint and the filter 13669.
