Microsoft Outlook Express 6.0 allows remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions, load content from arbitrary sources into the Outlook context, and facilitate phishing attacks via a "BASE HREF" with the target set to "_top".
The weakness was shared 05/14/2004 by http-equiv with malware.com (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at secunia.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2004-2694 since 10/06/2007. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
