Picasa3.exe in Google Picasa before 3.9.0 Build 137.69 allows remote attackers to trigger memory corruption via a crafted TIFF tag, as demonstrated using a KDC file with a DSLR-A100 model and certain sequences of tags.

The weakness was presented 01/08/2014 by Hossein Lotfi (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at support.google.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2013-5358 since 08/21/2013. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit.
