This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the file mondetail.jsp. The manipulation of the argument ArraySQL with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in JAMon (Java Application Monitor) 2.7 and earlier allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) listenertype or (2) currentlistener parameter to mondetail.jsp or ArraySQL parameter to (3) mondetail.jsp, (4) jamonadmin.jsp, (5) sql.jsp, or (6) exceptions.jsp.
The weakness was presented 01/31/2014 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-6235 since 10/21/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
By approaching the search of inurl:mondetail.jsp it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 12833 (The Java Application Monitor (JAMon) Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability).
