A vulnerability was found in Schneider Electric Floating License Manager up to 1.4.0 (SCADA Software). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the component License Manager. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a unquoted search path vulnerability. Unquoted Windows search path vulnerability in Schneider Electric Floating License Manager 1.0.0 through 1.4.0 allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse application with a name composed of an initial substring of a path that contains a space character.
The weakness was presented 02/28/2014 (Website). The advisory is shared at ics-cert.us-cert.gov. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-0759 since 01/02/2014.
