SQL injection vulnerability in ImageCMS before 4.2 allows remote authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the q parameter to admin/admin_search/. NOTE: this can be leveraged using CSRF to allow remote unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands.
The weakness was published 03/11/2014 with High-Tech Bridge Security Research Lab (Website). The advisory is shared for download at htbridge.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2012-6290 since 12/06/2012. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. A single authentication is necessary for exploitation.
