A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in ownCloud up to 5.0.5 (Cloud Software). This affects an unknown part of the file index.php of the component Login Page. Open redirect vulnerability in the Login Page (index.php) in ownCloud before 5.0.6 allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks via a URL in the redirect_url parameter.
The weakness was disclosed 03/14/2014 (Website). The advisory is shared at owncloud.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2013-2044 since 02/19/2013. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
