Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in MantisBT up to 1.2.15 (Bug Tracking Software). Affected is the function mci_file_get of the component SOAP. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
SQL injection vulnerability in the mci_file_get function in api/soap/mc_file_api.php in MantisBT before 1.2.16 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via a crafted envelope tag in a mc_issue_attachment_get SOAP request.
