Use-after-free vulnerability in the SVG implementation in WebKit, as used in Google Chrome before 22.0.1229.94, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was disclosed 10/10/2012 by PwniePie as not defined advisory (Website). The advisory is available at blog.chromium.org. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2012-5112 since 09/24/2012. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a private exploit is available.
