Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the XCloner plugin before 3.1.1 for WordPress allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that create website backups via a request to wp-admin/plugins.php.

The weakness was disclosed 04/03/2014 (Website). The advisory is shared at htbridge.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-2340 since 03/12/2014. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
