A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in David Paleino WICD. This issue affects the function SetWiredProperty. The SetWiredProperty function in the D-Bus interface in WICD before 1.7.2 allows local users to write arbitrary configuration settings and gain privileges via a crafted property name in a dbus message.
The weakness was released 04/07/2014 (Website). The advisory is shared at launchpad.net. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2012-2095 since 04/04/2012.
