Multiple buffer overflows in RealNetworks RealPlayer before 17.0.10.8 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a malformed (1) elst or (2) stsz atom in an MP4 file.
The weakness was disclosed 07/04/2014 by Dehui Yin as FG-VD-14-001 - Memory Corruption Vulnerability in RealNetworks RealPlayer as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at fortiguard.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-3113 since 04/29/2014. The attack may be initiated remotely.
