A vulnerability was found in Adobe Acrobat Reader 10.1.10/10.1.11/11.0.07/11.0.08 (Document Reader Software). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality. Heap-based buffer overflow in Adobe Reader and Acrobat 10.x before 10.1.12 and 11.x before 11.0.09 on Windows and OS X allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors, a different vulnerability than CVE-2014-0561.
The weakness was disclosed 09/16/2014 as APSB14-20 as confirmed advisory (Website) via ZDI (Zero Day Initiative). The advisory is shared for download at helpx.adobe.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2014-0567 since 12/20/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
