The weakness was disclosed 09/17/2014 by Adam Weaver (evad3rs) with Binamuse VRT as HT6441 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at support.apple.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-4423 since 06/20/2014. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
