NetFS Client Framework in Apple OS X before 10.10 does not ensure that the disabling of File Sharing is always possible, which allows remote attackers to read or write to files by leveraging a state in which File Sharing is permanently enabled.
The weakness was shared 10/16/2014 by Eduardo Bonsi as HT6535 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at support.apple.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2014-4441 since 06/20/2014. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
