Apple OS X before 10.10 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference) via crafted ASN.1 data.
The weakness was presented 10/16/2014 with Coverity as HT6535 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at support.apple.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-4443 since 06/20/2014. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
