The weakness was disclosed 10/30/2014 by Oded Vanunu and Adi Volkovitz with Check Point as FG-IR-14-033 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at fortiguard.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-2334 since 03/12/2014. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
