These issues were disclosed as part of the IBM SDK Java Technology Edition updates in July 2014.This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-6163 since 09/02/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. A simple authentication is required for exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
