McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) before 4.6.9 and 5.x before 5.1.2 uses the same secret key across different customers installations, which allows attackers to obtain the administrator password by leveraging knowledge of the encrypted password.
The weakness was presented 01/09/2015 by Brandon Perry as SB10095 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at kc.mcafee.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2015-0922 since 01/09/2015. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
