A vulnerability was found in Oracle HTTP Server 10.1.3.5.0/11.1.1.7.0/12.1.2.0/12.1.3.0 (Web Server). It has been declared as problematic. The mod_headers module in the Apache HTTP Server 2.2.22 allows remote attackers to bypass "RequestHeader unset" directives by placing a header in the trailer portion of data sent with chunked transfer coding. NOTE: the vendor states "this is not a security issue in httpd as such."

The advisory is shared for download at oracle.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-5704 since 09/05/2013. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
