The IPv6 implementation in the kernel in Apple iOS before 7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via crafted ICMPv6 packets.

This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2011-2391 since 06/05/2011. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
