The weakness was shared 01/27/2015 by Jose Duart (PanguTeam) with Google Security Team as HT204244 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at support.apple.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-8829 since 11/14/2014. An attack has to be approached locally. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Multiple out of bounds write issues existed in SceneKit. These issues were addressed through improved bounds checking.
