A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Cisco Intrusion Prevention System (version now known). This affects some unknown processing of the component SSL/TLS Key Regeneration. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a race condition vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-362. The product contains a code sequence that can run concurrently with other code, and the code sequence requires temporary, exclusive access to a shared resource, but a timing window exists in which the shared resource can be modified by another code sequence that is operating concurrently. This is going to have an impact on availability.
