The Form Autocompletion feature in Mozilla Firefox before 36.0, Firefox ESR 31.x before 31.5, and Thunderbird before 31.5 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via crafted JavaScript code.

The weakness was published 02/24/2015 by Armin Razmdjou as MFSA 2015-24 as confirmed security advisory (Website). The advisory is available at mozilla.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2015-0822 since 01/07/2015. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1592 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
