A vulnerability was found in Cambridge Enterprise JBIG-KIT up to 2.0. It has been classified as critical. This affects the function jbg_dec_in. Stack-based buffer overflow in the jbg_dec_in function in libjbig/jbig.c in JBIG-KIT before 2.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted image file.
The weakness was disclosed 04/11/2014 by Florian Weimer (Website). The advisory is shared at cl.cam.ac.uk. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2013-6369 since 11/04/2013.
