Multiple unrestricted file upload vulnerabilities in fileupload.php in PivotX before 2.3.9 allow remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code by uploading a file with a (1) .php or (2) .php# extension, and then accessing it via unspecified vectors.

The weakness was presented 04/15/2014 as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). The advisory is shared for download at kb.cert.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2014-0342 since 12/05/2013. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
